Domaine Skouras will be celebrating Megales Meres Nemeas 2017 (Great Nemea Days) by presenting Optimistic Skouras, an exhibition of graphic design work by Optimistic for Domaine Skouras.

Over the past thirteen years, Megales Meres Nemeas celebrates the Agiorgitiko harvest in the Protected Designation of Origin Nemea zone. Agiorgitiko is internationally acknowledged as one of the most renowned autochthonous red-grape varieties of Greece. Domaine Skouras has been part of this Agiorgitiko harvest celebration since 2004 and organises special events each year. This year, the Domaine will be open on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September from 11am to 6pm for a series of events. One such event is a brief retrospective of graphic design work by Erofili Kazazis for the Domaine. Kazazis, an Anglo-Saxon-educated designer, established Optimistic in Athens in 1992 and over the last 22 years she has worked closely with Skouras to conceive and create a polymorphic portfolio of branding materials, such as corporate identity, promotion, advertising and product packaging (labels, caps and cartons). The exhibition showcases selected graphic work completed from 1995 through to this very moment and will be open to the public from Sunday 3rd to Saturday 30th September. Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 3.30 pm, Saturday 10.30 am to 6 pm.

The private view on Saturday 2nd September 2017 starts at 7pm with an opera evening at the Domaine’s cellar by soprano Dimitra Tsiapou, winner of the top 2016 Monody prize at the 3rd Panhellenic Music Contest organised by the UNESCO Club of Art, Discourse and Science Greece. Ioannis Tsanakaliotis will accompany Dimitra Tsiapou on the piano. The opera evening is curated by United We Fly.

The full programme for the weekend 2nd and 3rd September at Domaine Skouras will follow.
